Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has raised fuel prices with effect from today the 7th of June 2022. A notice seen by Pindula News says diesel now costs US$1.76, up from US$1.74 while the price of petrol (Blend – E15) has been increased to US$1.73, up from US$1.68 per litre. In Zimbabwe dollar terms, diesel now costs ZWL$550.59, up from ZWL$499.56 per litre. Petrol (Blend – E15) now costs ZWL$539.56 up from ZWL$481.02 per litre. ZERA said:
Please be advised that there has been a review of prices for diesel and blend with effect from 7 June 2022. The prices are as follows:
The public and operators are advised that the blending ratio is now at E 15. Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations. Stakeholders are advised that the petroleum price releases by ZERA can be verified on the official ZERA website, Facebook or Twitter handle.
