Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. Queen Camilla is taking a break from royal duties after filling in for King Charles after he was diagnosed with cancer.

She has no royal engagements scheduled for over a week, taking some downtime to spend with her family and husband, according to The Times.

While filling in for the king, Camilla completed 13 engagements, according to The Independent.

She is set to resume her duties and public appearances on 11 March at Westminster Abbey for Commonwealth Day, an annual celebration of the 56 Commonwealth countries.

With Queen Camilla taking some downtime, Princess Anne and Prince Edward are scheduled to represent the royal family at most public events, E! reports.

These events include the Right Stuff Amateur Boxing Club, Freewheelers Theatre, Rising Brook Community Church, Savoy Chapel, National Equine Forum and others.Prince William is also expected to carry out royal engagements, having previously missed out on the memorial service for his godfather, King Constantine of Greece, due to a “personal matter”. The prince initially took a break from royal duties after Princess Kate’s planned abdominal surgery.

Princess Kate is reportedly still recovering at home in Windsor, according to Sky News.King Charles has put aside public duties while he is receiving treatment after announcing his cancer diagnosis. Since the announcement, he has made some public appearances, being seen at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham and returning to Clarence House.
