Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Gamuchirai Nemukuyu, the ex-wife of Chillspot founder DJ Fantan, who left Zimbabwe for South Africa over a week ago, revealed that she fled the country to escape the ongoing harassment and abuse from her ex-husband.<\/p>\n

Nemukuyu\u2019s departure, along with the couple\u2019s two children\u2014Rufaro Kamudyariwa (6) and Ruvheneko Kamudyariwa (5)\u2014prompted a frantic search by Fantan, who was desperate to locate them.<\/p>\n

Speaking from her new base in South Africa, Nemukuyu explained that the abuse she endured from Fantan was the driving force behind her decision to leave the country and seek safety for herself and her children. She said:<\/p>\n

I left the country because of how my ex-husband was treating me. I couldn\u2019t take the frustration and the torture that I got every day.<\/p>\n

I was tormented, he would call in the middle of the night, would call early in the morning and act as if he wanted to check the welfare of the kids..
\nAt one time he called me around 6 AM and said, \u201cdo you want to help the kids with homework?\u201d Who does that? Who calls someone at six?<\/p>\n

Nemukuyu said that DJ Fantan, whose real name is Arnold Kamudyariwa, would often show up unannounced, deliberately seeking to provoke arguments. She said:<\/p>\n

He would come and say I\u2019m coming from the gym, I just want to check up on the kids and then start arguments for no reason.<\/p>\n

She also spoke about their divorce, saying it was Fantan who ended their marriage.<\/p>\n

Nemukuyu said while she was deeply hurt and cried when Fantan ended their relationship, she chose not to cause any drama.<\/p>\n

She asserted that she never confronted him or his new partner, nor did she take to social media to air grievances after their breakup.<\/p>\n
