Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Former ZANU PF central committee member, Blessed Runesu Geza, says there is no justification for 16 million Zimbabweans to suffer at the hands of what he referred to as criminals surrounding President Emmerson Mnangagwa.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, 26 March 2025, Geza released a new video reiterating his calls for \u201can uprising\u201d to force Mnangagwa to resign on March 31. He declared:<\/p>\n

We want an uprising from Plumtree to Mutare, from Zambezi to Limpopo, everyone should flood the streets, Mnangagwa must go.<\/p>\n

Geza, who is wanted by the police for allegedly inciting violence and civil unrest through his public statements, appeared in a YouTube video from an undisclosed location wearing military fatigues.<\/p>\n

In the video, he named what he referred to as \u201ccriminals around Mnangagwa\u201d and a second group of \u201cpolitical criminals.\u201d<\/p>\n

The first list included businessmen Wicknell Chivayo, Kudakwashe Tagwirei, Scott Sakupwanya, and Mnangagwa\u2019s wife, Auxilia. He said:<\/p>\n

We\u2019re people of action, you need to buy data because you will see the action we will take about these criminals.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re not many in number, on the other hand it\u2019s 16 million of us. Why should we suffer at the hands of a few?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s sad what\u2019s happening, you now even hear people saying colonial rule was better. All this is being caused by these political criminals.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re dealing with Mnangagwa on March 31 but these criminals we\u2019re going after them starting from now.<\/p>\n

These people think they\u2019re very clever, but they\u2019re going to regret. It\u2019s they who will in the end voluntarily go to Mnangagwa and say \u2018please go now, we\u2019re suffering\u2019.<\/p>\n

Geza, who claims to represent a group of war veterans, said they were \u201cvery sorry that we let you down\u201d after years of backing the ZANU PF leadership.<\/p>\n

Geza has urged opposition leaders to join his call for action, but questions remain about his democratic credentials.<\/p>\n

During a ZANU PF politburo meeting in Harare on Wednesday, Mnangagwa said he had enough support from \u201cpatriotic citizens to squash efforts by malcontents and rogue, delusional elements bent on disturbing our peace, unity, and harmony.\u201d<\/p>\n
