Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>DURING the recently held Sizonkwonza Concert at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Hall in Bulawayo, two gospel greats \u2014 Michael Mahendere and Dumi Mkokstad \u2014 pledged their support for rising gospel artiste, Sipho Snowy.<\/p>\n

Snowy, an emerging talented gospel musician, who fellowships at Harvest House International, received encouragement from Mahendere and Mkokstad.<\/p>\n

In an interview, Mkokstad expressed commitment to helping Snowy gain publicity in the South African market by inviting him to perform at his musical concerts \u2014 a move that could significantly boost Snowy’s career and brand equity.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to state that I hadn\u2019t heard about Snowy until I came with The Spirit of Praise. I was amazed by his gift and I started talking to him from then on. That\u2019s why I am here today. Because we have built a relationship, I want to open doors for him, if possible, by the grace of God \u2014 in South Africa. Who knows, he might also become prominent there, and that\u2019s my wish,\u201d Mkokstad said.<\/p>\n

Zimbabwean gospel star Mahendere also expressed appreciation for the concert.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are grateful to God for our brother Snowy for organising such an event. I talked to Snowy earlier and he asked me why I hadn\u2019t told him that it\u2019s not an easy road. I said, \u2018You have to go through it, and you graduate from there,\u201d Mahendere said.<\/p>\n

Mahendere emphasised the significance of gatherings such as the concert, saying, \u201cIt\u2019s, always amazing to see people coming together for the sake of the music ministry, music business and music industry.\u201d<\/p>\n

On May 31, Snowy will perform for the first time in the UK at the Grateful Experience Concert organised by Eleana Makombe. In an interview, Snowy expressed excitement about the upcoming performance, calling it an opportunity to showcase his talent on a global stage alongside renowned gospel artistes.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me, it\u2019s a dream come true to share a big stage with big names. I am forever grateful to the organisers,\u201d Snowy told NewsDay Life & Style.<\/p>\n
