Chicken Inn have targeted Mushowani Stars striker Evans Katema as a replacement for Clive Augusto who has generated a lot of interest from South African clubs.<\/p>\n
Augusto is in a rich vein of form, leading the scoring chart with 13 goals from 13 matches, which has drawn a lot of attention of South African clubs.<\/p>\n
The South African clubs which includes Polokwane City, Maritzburg United and Cape Town City have made contact with 2015 champions, forcing the club to start looking for possible replacements.<\/p>\n
The Gamecocks coach Joey Antipas has admitted that they are looking for a striker, but refused to reveal that it\u2019s Katema.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are in the market looking for a striker. In as much as we would have liked to keep Clive, we don\u2019t want to stand in his way because a lot of clubs from South Africa are interested in him. We can\u2019t disclose at the moment who we have targeted because there are contractual issues to look at,\u201d said Antipas.<\/p>\n
