The City of Harare is upgrading Mbare\u2019s famous Mupedzanhamo Market, The Herald reports. Council Workers were reportedly seen re-zoning and marking the market\u2019s bays to make sure each trader gets a 2-meter width to allow them to have more space between each other and maintain social distancing measures in line with WHO social distancing standards to curb spreading COVID-19.<\/p>\n
The market which is used to sell second-hand clothes will open to traders selling other wares other than second-hand clothes following the government\u2019s announcement it will enforce the second-hand clothes ban more effectively this time to try and curb the spread of COVID-19.<\/p>\n
The city said it will help the government enforce the law when it comes to second-hand clothes being sold at Mupedzanhamo:<\/p>\n
