Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Thousands of Manchester City fans are expected to attend Manchester City\u2019s final home game of the 2020\/21 season against Everton to bid farewell to the club\u2019s all-time goalscorer, Sergio Kun Aguero.<\/p>\n

Manchester City Chairman, Khaldoon Al Mubarak has revealed that a statue of the City striker has been commissioned to stand alongside those currently in work to honour Sergio\u2019s former team-mates David Silva and Vincent Kompany.<\/p>\n

This comes as the Blues have also announced that the Argentina international will be leaving Etihad at the end of this season after ten years with the club.<\/p>\n

Aguero\u2019s legend will further be marked by the installation of dedicated and permanent mosaic at the City Football Academy. Khaldoon Al Mubarak said:<\/p>\n

Sergio\u2019s contribution to Manchester City over the last 10 years cannot be overstated. His legend will be indelibly etched into the memories of everyone who loves the Club and maybe even in those who simply love football.<\/p>\n

This is not yet the moment for farewell words and speeches. There is still much to achieve in the remainder of the time we have with Sergio, and we look forward to his contributions to the challenges which lay ahead.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, it gives me great pleasure to announce that we will be commissioning an artist to create a statue of Sergio to live at the Etihad Stadium alongside the ones under construction for Vincent and David. And we look forward to the opportunity to bid Sergio a fitting farewell at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, City coach Pep Guardiola is said to be looking for a replacement with Tottenham Hotspurs\u2019 Hary Kane being the main target.<\/p>\n
