Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Suspended Dynamos goalkeepers\u2019 coach, Gift Muzadzi has challenged the basis of his sanctions by the club saying he is a victim of circumstances.<\/p>\n

Dynamos spokesperson, Yvonne Mangunda, said Muzadzi was suspended from the club this week and the issue was going through internal disciplinary processes.<\/p>\n

Muzadzi said the issues cited in his letter of suspension include his visit to the club\u2019s board chairperson Bernard Marriot\u2019s residence.<\/p>\n

The former DeMbare goalkeeper told The Herald that contrary to reports, he did not confront the club\u2019s treasurer after their training session on Saturday at Prince Edward over salaries. Said Muzadzi:<\/p>\n

We came for training on Saturday then after training the players got US$8 each for bus fare because we had scheduled our programme for four days.<\/p>\n

So, the players were saying they do not have money for transport, since they have not received their salaries for last month.<\/p>\n

It was US$2 per day to get into town and, from there, they use the team bus.<\/p>\n

As a technical team, we got US$15, which we were supposed to share for the days we would train, until the Highlanders game.<\/p>\n

And, I asked, how was it possible that five people could share US$15?<\/p>\n

The response I got was that this was the money that was available and I said, \u2018But guys, that\u2019s an insult, the treasurer can\u2019t do this to us, it\u2019s better to tell us that there is no money, as coaches, as long as they have given the players\u2019 money for transport.\u2019<\/p>\n

We can always find our own way to the session.<\/p>\n

I then met him (the treasurer) at the gate and I said treasurer, thank you for the insult, that\u2019s what I said, US$3 for the whole week.<\/p>\n

Muzadzi confirmed that three senior Dynamos players Simbarashe Chinani, Godknows Murwira and captain Partson Jaure have no contracts with the club.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
