Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>ZANU PF Finance Secretary and Acting Political Commissar, Patrick Chinamasa, was involved in an accident just after Rusape on Saturday after he allegedly rammed into a truck carrying scrap metal.<\/p>\n

NewsDay<\/b><\/p>\n

reported ZANU PF sources as saying the accident happened around 6:45 pm at the 12-kilometre peg after Rusape, before the tollgate.<\/p>\n

Chinamasa, however, did not incur any serious injury but was reportedly complaining of chest pains.<\/p>\n

He was taken to Rusape Hospital but was transferred to a private hospital in Harare. The NewsDay source said:<\/p>\n

It\u2019s true comrade Chinamasa was involved in an accident at the 12-kilometre peg after Rusape, before tollgate.<\/p>\n

He was rushed to Rusape Hospital and transferred to Harare as he was complaining of chest pains.<\/p>\n

ZANU PF Manicaland provincial chairman Mike Madiro was among party officials who rushed to see Chinamasa after the accident.<\/p>\n
