Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) has announced a planned power interruption in the Harare region on 6 August, for the purpose of carrying out critical maintenance.<\/p>\n

The places affected are Mt Hampden: Lakas, River of Life Church, Hat Nursery, Biltrans, Lomagundi road plots, Goodhope, Williwcreek, Amot Farm and parts of Malborough.<\/p>\n

In addition, Acacia Park, Hydon Park, Obrim bricks, Zifa Village, Agriseed, Kuwadzana School, New Parliament and the surrounding areas.<\/p>\n

This power interruption will take place on Friday, 6 August 2021, from 9 AM to 4 PM. In a statement ZETDC said:<\/p>\n

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) would like to advise its valued customers in Harare Region that there would be a power supply interruption on Friday 06 August 2021 from 0900 hours to 1600 hours for the purpose of carrying out critical maintenance works.<\/p>\n

During this period, electricity will not be available in the following areas: Mount Hampden: Lakas, River of Life Church, Hat Nursery, Biltrans, Lomagundi road plots, Goodhope, Williwcreek, Arnot Farm, parts of Marlborough, Acacia Park, Haydon Park, Obrim Bricks, ZIFA Village, Agriseed, Kuwadzana School, New Parliament and the surrounding areas.<\/p>\n

Customers are advised to treat all circuits as LIVE during this period as power may be restored without notice.<\/p>\n
