Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Zimbabwe\u2019s senior women\u2019s football team, the Mighty Warriors, has been drawn in Group B of the 2021 COSAFA Women\u2019s Championship alongside Botswana, Tanzania and South Sudan.<\/p>\n

For the fourth year in a row, the women\u2019s senior tournament will take place in Nelson Mandela Bay in South Africa from 15-26 September.<\/p>\n

Banyana Banyana (South Africa), have won the last four championships and seven out of eight in all, with only Zimbabwe breaking their run-on home soil in 2011.<\/p>\n

At last year\u2019s COSAFA Women\u2019s Championship, Zimbabwe returned home without a win after they lost to Tanzania and Botswana in the group stage to finish bottom of the pool with zero points.<\/p>\n

The full group-stage draw is as follows:<\/p>\n

Group A: South Africa, Angola, Malawi, Mozambique<\/p>\n

Group B: Botswana, Tanzania, South Sudan, Zimbabwe<\/p>\n

Group C: Zambia, Namibia, Eswatini, Uganda<\/p>\n
