Africa-Press<\/a> – Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>A Rusape municipal officer who went missing for almost two weeks was found dead by a fisherman at Rusape Dam, some 2km from the town.<\/p>\n

Jairos Chirinda\u2019s body was discovered in an advanced stage of decomposition on Friday evening by Simon Makoni who reported the matter to the police. It was retrieved on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

The body was found at the edge of the dam and police said they are still investigating if there was foul play involved. Chirinda\u2019s body now awaits postmortem in Harare.<\/p>\n

Manicaland provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luxon Chananda confirmed the story to Masvingo Mirror but said that the cause of death is not yet known.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
