{"id":48572,"date":"2021-10-19T21:07:12","date_gmt":"2021-10-19T19:07:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/zimbabwe\/?p=48572"},"modified":"2021-10-19T20:24:23","modified_gmt":"2021-10-19T18:24:23","slug":"chartered-flight-for-mps-to-vic-falls-for-2022-national-pre-budget-seminar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/zimbabwe\/all-news\/chartered-flight-for-mps-to-vic-falls-for-2022-national-pre-budget-seminar","title":{"rendered":"Chartered Flight For MPs To Vic Falls For 2022 National Pre-Budget Seminar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/zimbabwe\">Zimbabwe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span><b>By Anna Chibamu<\/b> &#8211; PARLIAMENT will avail a chartered flight for MPs to attend the 2022 annual pre-budget seminar in the resort city of Victoria Falls.<\/p>\n<p>House of Assembly Speaker Jacob Mudenda confirmed the 2022 pre-budget seminar will be held this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Mudenda told National Assembly members Tuesday all MPs residing from provinces furthest Victoria Falls, such as Harare, Mashonaland East, West, Central, Manicaland will fly to the resort city Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>However, MPs from Masvingo, Midlands, Bulawayo, Matabeleland North, Matabeleland South province will use their parliamentary-issued vehicles to travel for the all-paid weekend seminar.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar follows public consultations carried out countrywide by Parliament ahead of the 2022 national budget to be presented by Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube next month.<\/p>\n<p>However, previous national budgets have come under fire from citizens who feel the budgets have become documents filled with figures with no meaning as the country\u2019s economy continues to worsen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Zimbabwe.
