Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>A 50-year-old woman was stabbed to death by an unknown assailant in Hwange on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) which is investigating the case say the assailant ran away after some passers-by rushed to the scene when they heard the deceased screaming. Pindula News presents a police statement on the case:<\/p>\n

The ZRP is investigating a murder case in which a female victim (50) was fatally stabbed several times all over the body with a knife by an unknown suspect along a footpath in a bushy area near Conwall Rd, Colliery, Hwange on 08\/02\/22<\/p>\n

The suspect ran away after passers-by, who heard the victim screaming, rushed to the scene of crime. #notomurder<\/p>\n

In a different case, ZRP is investigating a robbery case that occurred at Borrow mine, Coleen Bawn, Gwanda on Monday the 7th of this month at around 1900 hours.<\/p>\n

It is alleged that three suspects who were armed with machetes, axes and iron rods attacked a complainant who was selling some groceries in a wooden tuckshop. Read a police statement:<\/p>\n

The suspects threatened to kill the complainant while demanding cash. They stole cash amounting to ZAR17 500, a cellphone and various groceries.<\/p>\n

Reported cases of armed robbery have been on the rise nationwide.<\/p>\n
