Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas says his goal-shy players cannot continue to lose games if they want to win the league title this season.<\/p>\n

The 2015 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions\u2019 title hopes have been dented by two straight defeats in their last two matches.<\/p>\n

In contrast, log leaders FC Platinum, who are chasing a fourth consecutive title, have won all their last six games to open a five-point cushion above the Gamecocks who are second.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Standard, Antipas said he has shelved any thoughts of the title, for now, insisting his focus is on arresting the team\u2019s losing streak. He said:<\/p>\n

For now, we can\u2019t think about the title. All we have to think now is to try and win our games because you cannot win titles by losing games so we have to find a way to start winning our games again.<\/p>\n

We have played two games we haven\u2019t scored and if you don\u2019t score then you don\u2019t win, it\u2019s as simple as that.<\/p>\n

Chicken Inn takes on equally struggling Bulawayo Chiefs at Luveve Stadium this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, FC Platinum play Dynamos at the National Sports Stadium this Sunday, with Chicken Inn hoping to close the gap if the platinum miners fail to win. Said Antipas:<\/p>\n

FC Platinum are doing great, they are in a rich vein of form. They are the team to beat so for us we can\u2019t even think about the championship now. All we have to think about is winning our games.<\/p>\n
