Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>A 35-year-old Harare woman was Friday remanded in custody after using US$38 000 that had been mistakenly transferred into her account<\/p>\n

Phionah Riekert is facing theft and money laundering charges, according to ZBC News.<\/p>\n

It is alleged that the bank made a mistake and transferred US$38 000 into the accused person\u2019s account.<\/p>\n

The accused allegedly withdrew the money despite having been notified by the bank of the mistake.<\/p>\n

A report was filed to the police leading to her arrest.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the ZRP is appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Doreen Ndlovu who is wanted in connection with a case of Perjury which occurred in December 2021.<\/p>\n

Ndlovu tendered an affidavit at the High Court of Zimbabwe in which she lied under oath.<\/p>\n

Her last known address is number 14 Volshenk Drive, Barnham Green, Bulawayo.<\/p>\n
