A MENTAL patient has been arrested for allegedly killing an elderly Madziwa woman, whose remains were found in a maize field in Madziwa on Friday.<\/p>\n

The deceased has been identified as Maude Munetsi aged 63 of Charamba village, Madziwa in Mashonaland Central province.<\/p>\n

Zimbabwe Republic Police national spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident.<\/p>\n

\u201cPolice in Madziva are investigating circumstances surrounding a case of murder in which, Maude Munetsi (63) was found dead, with head injuries, in a maize field at Charamba Village, Madziwa on May 26, 2023,\u201d said Nyathi.<\/p>\n

\u201cPolice have since arrested a suspected mental patient, Tendayi Endby Nyamupfukudza (51), in connection with the case.\u201d<\/p>\n
