President Mugabe has met with delegates from South Africa and the head of Zimbabwe’s armed forces. However, discussions outside the State House are starting to turn towards what the country will look like without him.<\/p>\n

Pictures have been published showing Robert Mugabe meeting with the head of the armed forces as well as a delegation from South Africa in Zimbabwe; it’s the first time he’s been seen since the military took power on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

The South African delegation is in Harare to help find a solution to the country’s political crisis.<\/p>\n

While the streets are calm and people are getting on with their daily lives, members of the opposition have said that the only way forward is for Mugabe to resign and people are starting to discuss a future Zimbabwe without Mugabe at the head.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
