Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>BIRMINGHAM: The Zim-UK Business Chamber<\/b> will, this weekend, host another conference for the health and social care sector with some delegates travelling from as far afield as Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n

The Chamber held another well-attended \u2018indaba\u2019 for the sector earlier this year in Daventry, Northampton.<\/p>\n

Organisers said the networking series moves to the Midlands this weekend, starting Friday evening at the Leonardo Hinkley Island Hotel, in Hinkley.<\/p>\n

Supported by, among others, Diaspora Insurance<\/b>, the conference will be held under the theme \u2018Inspiring And Motivating Others\u2019.<\/p>\n

It has also attracted \u201cseveral key speakers directly from the industry and related fields in order to give a one-stop-shop event for those in the industry already and those aspiring to join the sector\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe conference and dinner event, open to the public though with a limited numbers of tickets available, has attracted guests from as far afield as Zimbabwe, something the organisers are upbeat about,\u201d the Chamber<\/b> said in a statement.<\/p>\n

Secretary general Cleto Mudhefi added; \u201cIt is humbling to receive a delegation of guests from Zimbabwe travelling specifically for this event \u2013 we are proud and are sure the delegation will find the event as inspiring as it will be for the local entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have engaged with key players in the build-up to the event including conversations with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and related bodies.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough they will not be in attendance this time, they recognise the Chamber and will, no doubt, contribute in future and similar engagements.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, panellists for the weekend indaba include;<\/p>\n

Chamber director of communications Peter Soxx Soko said the conference and dinner event is \u201copen to the public though with a limited numbers of tickets available\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt \u00a3145 per ticket for non-members, the business conference, starting at 10am sharp on Saturday 28th, will include presentations, panel discussions, question and answer sessions, lunch, and a 3-course gala-dinner, and an amazing opportunity to network and the Friday 27th evening has been set aside just for that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
