{"id":86371,"date":"2023-11-07T15:26:45","date_gmt":"2023-11-07T13:26:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/zimbabwe\/all-news\/recalled-ccc-members-barred-from-using-party-name-tshabangu"},"modified":"2023-11-07T20:05:29","modified_gmt":"2023-11-07T18:05:29","slug":"recalled-ccc-members-barred-from-using-party-name-tshabangu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/zimbabwe\/all-news\/recalled-ccc-members-barred-from-using-party-name-tshabangu","title":{"rendered":"Recalled CCC Members Barred From Using Party Name &#8211; Tshabangu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span><b>Sengezo Tshabangu<\/b> said that all CCC aspiring candidates who were recalled by the opposition party should not file nomination papers for the 09 December by-elections using the party name.<\/p>\n<p>The self-proclaimed CCC interim party secretary general said recalled MPs who file their nomination papers today using the party name will be in violation of a standing High Court and their papers should be rejected by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC).<\/p>\n<p>The <b>Chronicle<\/b> reported Tshabangu as saying all the expelled individuals are no longer CCC members and have no authority to use party symbols or claim to represent the party.
