Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>ALPHA Media Holdings (AMH) board member and top lawyer Sternford Moyo has died.<\/p>\n

Moyo died in Harare.<\/p>\n

Details of his funeral arrangements and burial date are yet to be announced.<\/p>\n

In his eulogy, AMH Editorial Advisory Board of Trustees chairman Muchadeyi Ashton Masunda said Moyo was a giant, not only physically and intellectually, but also in terms of the immense and indelible footprint that he has left as an eminent jurist.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnly on Monday June 24, 2024, I had occasion to discuss with him and set in motion the process for him to accomplish his fervent desire to spread his horizons by joining the growing pool of the \u2018worshipful company of honourable commercial and sports arbitrators and mediators\u2019 that has been painstakingly nurtured by the Commercial Arbitration Centre since inception on July 1, 1995,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Moyo sat on a number of boards that include Alpha Media Holdings, Delta Corporation Limited, Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe Limited and Zimbabwe Revenue Authority.<\/p>\n
