Africa-Press – Angola. At least 575 students are enrolled in the second year of the master’s course, at the Gregório Semedo University, revealed, Thursday (14), in Luanda, the dean of the academic institution, Luís Rocha.
Speaking during the University’s scientific days, which ended yesterday, the rector highlighted that, at the moment, a group of 784 is completing the curricular part of the master’s degree and another 25 are waiting for the public defense of the dissertations.
The dean added that the Gregorio Semedo University has already graduated 38 masters. These cadres are part of a total of 1,767 students, of which 147 have already completed the postgraduate study cycle, but have not yet presented their dissertation.
“The 38 masters are the result of the institution’s current teaching policy, because, for us, the student is no longer a mere passive consumer of the master’s speech and, now, becomes a true partner in the construction of knowledge”, said.
Therefore, Luís Rocha announced the regular publication of a scientific journal, in which professors and students can publish academic works and obtain public recognition.
