Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Simeon Angue, signed the Book of Condolences at the Angolan Embassy in Malabo, due to the death of the former Head of State José Eduardo dos Santos.

In the message he signed on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of that country, noted the fact that José Eduardo dos Santos had dedicated his concerns “in favor of development, Culture, Education and of rebuilding your country.

Simeon Angue considered the physical disappearance of the former President as an “irreparable loss”, and for this fact, the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea offers its deepest condolences to the Government and the Angolan people, expressing also all its solidarity, in this time of grief, pain and sadness

During this week, several personalities from different areas of civil society traveled to the premises of the Angolan Embassy in Malabo, to sign the book of condolences, in honor of the former President of the Republic of Angola.

Messages from the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Republic of Equatorial Guinea stand out, with emphasis on ambassadors from the various regions of Africa, namely West Africa, Central Africa and Southern Africa, and also Ambassadors from European countries, as was the case of the Messages from the Ambassadors of Kingdom of Spain, and the French and Portuguese Republics.

Living in the city of Malabo, the former Chief of Staff of the Presidency of the Republic of Mozambique and former Executive Secretary of the CPLP, Ambassador Murade Murargy, signed the book of condolences opened at the Embassy of Angola in the Equatorial Guinean capital, having in his message regretted the physical disappearance of one of the founding statesmen of the “Front Line Countries”, also leaving his deepest condolences to the Angolan people.
