FNLA promises improvement of social conditions

Africa-Press – Angola. The FNLA is committed to improving the social conditions of the population, especially in the areas of Education and Health, said this Saturday, the secretary general of the party, Aguiar Laurindo, during a mass rally at the Praça Nova market, in the municipality of Belas, in Luanda.

If it wins the next elections, scheduled for August 24 this year, the FNLA intends to promote the creation of opportunities that meet the wishes of Angolans.

Aguiar Laurindo took advantage of the occasion to remind those present of the party’s bulletin number from the draw (4).

The act aimed to present the electoral promises to win the votes of more than 14 million Angolan voters, in the election of 24 August.

The next general elections in Angola, the fifth in the country’s history since National Independence on 11 November 1975, will count with the participation, for the first time, of Angolans residing abroad.

Of the total of 14.399 million voters expected at the polls, 22,560 are in the diaspora, spread over 25 cities in 12 countries in Africa, Europe and America. The previous elections took place in 1992, 2008, 2012 and 2017.
