The foundation stone for the construction of the stadium was laid yesterday, on the outskirts of the city of Uíge, by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto, in a ceremony attended by traditional authorities, young people, members of the Government and religious entities. .

The stadium will have a playing field with natural grass, 105 meters long and 68 meters wide, two three-story side stands, with coverage in the VIP tribune and boxes, four changing rooms for athletes and referees, medical emergency rooms, anti-doping control, press area, two studios for Radio, Television and bars. The infrastructure will also have an athletics track with 100 areas, including instruments for obstacle tests, triple jump, high jump, javelin, hammer and shot throws, also complying with the accessibility law for people with reduced mobility, as well as commercial areas.
“Our clubs have been working to get a spot in international competitions, so we must build a stadium with the necessary characteristics, so that at home it can host any other team, national or foreign”, said the minister.
