Africa-Press – Angola. The Head of Angolan diplomacy, Téte António, conferred, on Thursday, the inauguration of the new Consul of Angola in Toronto, Republic of Canada, Mateus Barros José.
Mateus Barros José is a senior staff member at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with a degree in International Relations and a master’s degree in Foreign Trade and International Negotiation.
Promoted in 2017 with the rank of Ambassador, diplomat Mateus Barros José, has already been Inspector General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Director of Human Resources at MIREX, having served the
Country in several Diplomatic Missions, with emphasis on the United Republic of Tanzania, Republic of Congo, Republic of Botswana and the Federative Republic of Brazil.
When addressing the sworn in, the minister asked for commitment, zeal and a spirit of mission in pursuit of the ultimate goal, which is the aggrandizement of diplomacy, the Ministry and the Homeland, in the concert of Nations.
