Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, yesterday expressed his willingness to continue strengthening the existing friendship and cooperation relations between Angola and Côte d’Ivoire, for the well-being of the population of both countries.
In a congratulatory note on the celebration of the 62nd anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, the Angolan Head of State writes that “on this date of transcendent significance” for this African country “I would like to praise the progress achieved in the various domains of social life , economic and political”.
João Lourenço also underlines the “tireless efforts in the search for stability and national reconciliation among the Ivorians”, addressing the President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Alassane Dramane Ouattara, “wishes for good health and prosperity for the people of Côte d’Ivoire”.
“On behalf of the people, the Angolan Executive and myself, I have the honor to congratulate the people, the Government of Côte d’Ivoire and Your Excellency, on the celebration of the 62nd anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire”, writes the Angolan President in the note to the press.
