Africa-Press – Angola. Actor Dionísio Caminha “Kiluanje” premieres, next Saturday, 17, at the Horizonte Njinga Mbande auditorium, in Luanda, the monologue “Atingi o Zero”, inspired by the homonymous poetic syllable of the famous poem “Renúncia Impossível”, by Agostinho Neto.

The show will be screened at 8:00 pm, with its premiere scheduled for Friday, the 16th, at Centro Cultural Dr. António Agostinho Neto, in Bairro Operário, in Luanda, in which the author will have an open conversation with people in the art of performing about the process of creation, production and assembly.

Adapted by Dionísio Caminha “Kiluanje”, in allusion to the Centenary of the First President of the Republic, staged by David Caracol, the show is the result of research into the work and life story of the Poet Maior.

The actor revealed that the show was inspired by some poems by António Agostinho Neto, in addition to the study of books, research and analysis by foreign and national authors about his life and work. Dionísio Caminha “Kiluanje” revealed that he embodies the figure of Manguxi and brings to the stage a character who conceives a life of its own to the letters, embodying them in the three acts subsequent to the departure, the arrests and exiles, as well as the return and the proclamation of the Independence of Angola.

The actor said that the public will have the opportunity to see scenes, which, based on texts, will, for example, show his posture in different moments that marked his life, such as in the woods and prison.

According to the play’s synopsis, in the show, the actor manages to discover a way out and finds the explicit experience of Neto’s poems, creating a logical narrative sequence, through the marriage of verses dramatized in selected poems.

“Atingi o Zero” has a duration of 40 minutes, monologue, and the production process also included Nariosa Pinto (light design) and Zeka Kekenia (executive producer).

Kiluanje stressed that he intends to present the show in all conventional theaters, in addition to the 18 provinces.

The artist embraced art at the age of 8, reciting a poem, in a school activity, in honor of Hoji-ya-Henda”.

In 1989, he participated with the experimental dance group “Balet Tradicional”, assigned to the Ministry of Culture, in the National Festival of Culture (FENACULT). with whom he traveled the world in international festivals, including the Mindelo Theater Festival (MindelAct), 2012 edition.

In cinema, he participated as an actor in the films “Herói” and “Comboio da Canhoca”, by Zezé Gamboa, writes films, script, and performs the tasks of producer, director, photographer, lighting, after having completed training in the respective professional specialties in abroad and in Angola. As a result, Kiluanje has published five documentaries and a short fiction film.
