The provincial phase of the Angola Football Cup in Luanda, whose draw was held on Tuesday, begins to be played on the 24th of this month, starting at 15:00, with emphasis on the match between Academia de Futebol de Angola ( AFA) and RSD Guelson FC, at Morro Bento, referring to the 1st leg of the first round.
For the same round, Neidji AFC travels to São Paulo’s “Quintalão”, to measure forces with the Capita FC team, Luanda City faces Gagá FC, in the Ndungidi Daniel field, at the premises of Academia 4 de Abril, in the Mártires de Kifangondo neighborhood, the Norberto de Castro School welcomes Malu FC, in its stronghold, in the Kapalanca neighborhood, in Viana.
For the conclusion of the first leg games, Kambas FC will face Matilha FC, in the “Quintalão” of São Paulo, in the urban district of Rangel.
The second leg matches of the first round are scheduled for the 28th of the current year. The last edition of the competition was won by Guelson FC, beating ASA 2-0 in the final at Estádio Municipal dos Coqueiros.
The national phase starts on January 11, 2022, with the round of 16 games. Before, on the 13th of December, the draws for the Championship of the II Division of qualification for Girabola’2023/24, and the national phase of the Angola Cup.
On the 8th of December, the Provincial Football Associations (APF) have the deadline to nominate representatives in the two competitions. The Provincial Championship, in the senior men’s class of Luanda, starts on October 1st, with the participation of 20 teams.
