Africa-Press – Angola. The governor of the Province of Luanda, Manuel Homem, reiterated, on Sunday (20), support for churches committed to promoting moral, ethical and spiritual values, education and training of good citizens.
Manuel Homem visited the Evangelical Church of Angola (IEA) yesterday and reiterated that he continues to establish relations with the churches in the jurisdiction.
He informed that situations for improving access roads, health centers and schools will be included in partnership actions with that community.
The minister alluded to the fact that the IEA is a historical church, above all, with participation in the country’s liberation process.
He spoke of the fundamental role of churches in partnership with the Executive for the development of communities.
“The Church and the State must maintain fruitful relations in the transformation of society”, he stressed.
He appealed for the spiritual support of the church in prayer for the Executive to govern with wisdom and faith, in order to intervene in what the citizen needs most, taking into account the complexity of the city of Luanda.
Manuel Homem was honored for his deeds, as a believer and politician.
