Africa-Press – Angola. The change in prices of products in the basic basket from the third to the fourth week of November registered a reduction of 0.19 percent, with wheat flour contributing to this reduction with 7.59 percent, milk powder (3.44) and food paste (3.42).

According to the price bulletin for basic basket products for the fourth week of November 2022 in the province of Luanda, in commercial establishments the price variation of basic basket products from the third to the fourth week of the month November recorded a reduction of 0.40 percent.

On the other hand, the biggest price changes were registered in tomato products with 12.09 percent, mackerel fish (9.83) and palm oil (3.14).

In the reference period, the biggest price reductions were observed in Angomart supermarkets with 12.72 percent, Deskontão (1.81) and Shoprite (1.30).

On the other hand, the biggest price changes were registered at Intermarket with 6.95 percent, Casa dos Frescos (2.07) and Candando (1.31).

Informal markets

The prices of basic basket products in informal markets from the third to the fourth week of November recorded a slight increase of 0.05 percent.

The products that most contributed to this slight increase in prices were tomatoes with 6.94 percent, beef (2.41 percent) and mackerel fish (2.37 percent).

The biggest price changes in the reference period were recorded in the Asa Branca markets with 1.01 percent, Kikolo (0.88) and KM30 (0.78).

Price reductions were observed at Correios with 1.57 percent, Kantinton (0.26), Congolenses and Kwanzas (0.18).
