Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan Sports Press Association (AIDA) will soon have its own facilities to be provided by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MINJUD), according to the guarantees of the titleholder, Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto.

During a hearing last Tuesday, in Luanda, to the members of the body’s management, the official said that AIDA will be included in the program for the best accommodation of sports federations.

Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto, who admitted other support for the development of the work carried out by the class, recognized the preponderant role of the sports press in Angola, considering it a partner in the area she leads.

The chairman of the board of AIDA, Luís Caetano, stated that it was a satisfactory meeting for what are the objectives of his squad, stressing that seeing the problem of lack of headquarters resolved, since the creation of the organization in 1997, would represent an enormous gain. .

Flanked by his vice-president, Vaz Kinguri, he stressed that with the holding of the Extraordinary Assembly, on Monday, and the promise of support by the MINJUD, better conditions are designed for the fulfillment of its action program. Luís Caetano also pointed out the lack of membership dues as one of the major concerns at the time of his management.

Staff training, legalization of AIDA with the Ministry of Justice and the International Association of Sports Press (AIPS) are also among the priorities. Angolan Sports Press Association (AIDA), created on 1 February 1997, brings together national professionals who practice journalism in the 18 provinces of the country.
