Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, appointed, this Wednesday (2), Manuel Silva Lopes da Cruz as chairman of the Board of Directors of EPAL – EP.
In a decree, Alberto Miguel Manuel, Venceslau Txindji Chissupa, Eva Dinamene Damião Fernandes da Costa and Kubikiladia Bernardete Garcia were appointed executive directors of Empresa Pública de Águas (EPAL), while Armando João, Celeste de Jesus Sequeira Bragança and Kavenamboteko Pedro Manvubo are now non-executive directors.
Previously, the President of the Republic had exonerated Alberto Miguel Manuel, Venceslau Txindji Chissupa, Manuel Silva Lopes da Cruz and Kubikiladia Bernardete Garcia, from the positions of executive directors of Empresa Pública de Águas – EPAL. The non-executive directors Armando João and Celeste de Jesus Sequeira Bragança were also dismissed from the same Board of Directors.
Also yesterday, in a third Decree, President João Lourenço appointed Luís Filipe da Silva, as non-executive director of the Board of Directors of Empresa Pública de Produção de Electricidade – PRODEL-EP, in addition to João Moreira Pinto Saraiva, non-executive director of the Board of Management of the company Rede Nacional de Electricidade – RNT – EP and Nsiansoki Mayamona – non-executive director of the Board of Directors of the National Electricity Distribution Company – ENDE-EP.
