Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of UNITA in Zaire, Pedro Tanda, defended this Thursday, in Mbanza Kongo, the allocation of more funds to the province, with a view to boosting the process of construction and rehabilitation of infrastructures in the region.
Speaking at the year-end greetings ceremony for his political training, the leader underlined that the budget increase for the province would help in the implementation of various projects with social and economic impact, above all in the field of communication routes.
By the way, the also deputy to the National Assembly for the provincial circle promised to bring this situation to his parliamentary group for possible analysis in the sessions of the Angolan hemicycle.
“We know the potential and the contribution of the province of Zaire to the General State Budget”, he emphasized.
On the political front, the secretary of UNITA in Zaire advanced that his party, at central level, has as its agenda the debate around local authorities, in the National Assembly.
Participating in the ceremony, which took place in one of the rooms of UNITA’s provincial committee, were municipal secretaries, leaders and representatives of the parties that make up the so-called United Patriotic Front (FPU) and militants.
