Luanda awaits strict inspections to promote good practices

Africa-Press – Angola. To promote good practices in public management, Luanda has since Thursday (3) a new delegate from the General Inspectorate of State Administration (IGAE) and during the inauguration the authorities requested more rigid and solid inspection actions, based on the principles of effectiveness, morality and transparency.

Maria Antónia Gaspar de Lemos, Domingos Compido’s replacement, said that her activity will focus on internal control, as well as helping the Luanda Provincial Government to prevent managers from incurring illicit practices in the administration of public affairs. She asked for everyone’s collaboration in reporting crimes through the reporting terminal 119.

For her part, the governor of Luanda asked the new delegate for a “high spirit of mission, to support the fight against corruption, nepotism, impunity and all harmful acts to the State, without discouraging the preventive and pedagogical side of the IGAE to ensure that good management and governance are a reality”.

Ana Paula Chantre Luna de Carvalho acknowledged that Luanda, as the political and administrative center of the country, carries complexities in its management, so efforts must be made daily to ensure that the bodies have a positive performance in the provision of services.
