Africa-Press – Angola. More than 1,500 Identity Cards (BI) are yet to be issued at the Civil Identification Office in Nhârea municipality, 175 kilometers north of Cuito, Bié province.
The documents were issued between 2016 and 2022.
Most of the citizens who handled the tickets are residents of Nharêa and some of Andulo and other regions, informed the head of the institution, Ernesto Dongala.
Ernesto Dongala requests the support of administrative and traditional authorities to disseminate information to communities, so that city dwellers collect their documents as quickly as possible.
Furthermore, he added that, during 2022, the sector issued 5,612 ID Cards, including renewal and duplicate.
The municipality of Nhârea, province of Bié, has over 100,000 inhabitants, spread over the municipalities of Lúbia, Caieie, Dando and Gamba, the majority of which are Communal.
