Africa-Press – Angola. The First Lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço, said this Thursday, in Luanda, that despite the challenging international macroeconomic context, Angola has been able to respond to all challenges, largely due to the resilience of the main economic and social agents.
Ana Dias Lourenço was speaking at the presentation of the ninth edition of the Sirius Awards, an initiative by the company Deloitte, which aims to recognize good practices in the management of organizations and in the performance of businessmen, entrepreneurs and managers, contributing to the creation of a culture of excellence.
The First Lady referred that in this sense, it is up to the Sirius Awards to recognize the best management practices of organizations and distinguish the personalities and projects that allowed the national economy, even in the face of obstacles, to remain strong and competitive.
In his view, the Sirius Awards are an important stimulus for organizations and the main economic and social actors who want, year after year, to do more and better, to boost the economy.
Ana Dias Lourenço was invited to preside over the jury of the ninth edition of the Sirius Awards, whose members, with recognized experience and professional career, must be guided by rigor, impartiality and independence in their performance.
On the occasion, the president of Deloitte Angola, José Barata, said that applications are open for organizations that can do so through the address www.premiossirius.com
He informed that his institution intends, this year, to contribute, once again, to the promotion of a society based on the values of rigour, transparency and excellence.
The prize winners will be announced in March.
