Africa-Press – Angola. One thousand and 747 companies, including companies, individual and cooperatives, were set up by the Guichê Único de Empresa (GUE), in Malanje, during the year 2022, within the scope of the investment and entrepreneurship policies underway in the country.
Of this number, 820 were created through the Program for Reconstruction of the Informal Economy (PREI), with single-person and multi-person partnerships, in the areas of commerce and service provision, the nature of more open companies.
The information was given today, by the administrator of GUE in Malanje, Nelson Lages, having referred that in 2021, only 84 companies had been created, due to the opening of the Guichê in November of the same year.
He made it known that in this month of January 2023, 68 companies have already been created so far and it is planned to expand services to municipalities in the province, in order to promote the opening of more companies and consequently raise more revenue for the State coffers .
He appealed to businessmen in order to legalize their commercial activities, with the Guichet Único de Empresa, under penalty of incurring in economic infractions.
Currently, GUE has representation in the Provincial Office for Integrated Economic Development, which has facilitated the issuance of commercial permits and is awaiting the integration of other State bodies linked to the legalization of the business sector.
The Guichet Único de Empresa is a public institute, aimed at simplifying and reducing bureaucracy in the process of incorporation, alteration and extinction of commercial companies and similar acts.
