Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan ambassador to Brazil, Florêncio de Almeida, recognized last Friday (10th), in Brasília, that cultural diplomacy is fundamental for affirming the country’s image abroad.
Speaking at the annual review meeting of the Centro Cultural Casa de Angola in Bahia, he considered the institution to be fundamental in the framework of relations between Angola and Brazil.
According to a press release from the Institutional Communication and Press Services of the Angolan Embassy in Brazil, on the occasion, the ambassador guided the implementation of a more active dynamic to obtain positive results.
With the mission of disseminating and promoting Angolan art, history and culture in Brazilian territory, the Casa de Angola Cultural Center in Bahia has existed since November 5, 1998.
