Africa-Press – Angola. Forty-eight businessmen from the areas of service provision, general trade and agriculture are taking part since Tuesday, in Manongue, capital of Cuando Cubango, in a training event, where they will improve knowledge on tax education and citizenship.
The training action, on the initiative of the Institute for the Support of Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM), will last for five days, and will address topics such as Work Income Tax (IRT), Industrial Tax with a focus on the simplified regime for Micro , Small and Medium Enterprises, as well as Value Added Tax.
Social consumption tax, taxation on property, tax on motor vehicles, the system for invoices and equivalent documents, issuing invoices on the portal, the stamp duty system and the legal system for tax identification numbers are also on the agenda.
Speaking at the opening of the training, the head of INAPEM’s services in Cuando Cubango, Jacob Paulo, stressed that the action aims to reinforce the corporate legal structure, increasing management skills to those responsible for local companies, to face the various programs and projects financing, to give face to a more robust and competitive market economy.
He said that the training action is part of the operationalization of the program of the Executive of the productive sector and in the framework of the improvement of the business environment, in a joint between the Ministry of Economy and Planning, INAPEM, General Tax Administration (AGT) and Provincial Office for Integrated Economic Development (GPDEI).
“I want to highlight the important role of the trainers and the selfless delivery of the management of the AGT, without which, it would literally not be possible to complete the various modules already taught, whose impact is visible throughout the business society”, he underlined.
