Africa-Press – Angola. The Cabinda Military Region (RMC) is committed to combat readiness to maintain the free movement of people and goods throughout the border province with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Republic of Congo.
According to the commander of the RMC, Tukikebi Tussan dos Santos, combat readiness should involve forces and means.
The lieutenant general was speaking, this Thursday, at the opening act of the 19th
Annual Balance Sheet Meeting of the RMC, referring to the period, 2022/2023.
In his speech, Tukikebi Tussan dos Santos reaffirmed that Cabinda province enjoys political and military stability that has ensured the free movement of people, means and goods.
Within the framework of activities for the current year, the commander of the RMC encouraged the units and sub-units to increasingly improve the methods of elaboration and execution of administrative and operational aspects.
He considered 2023 a promising year and pointed to the improvement of the troops’ living conditions, cohesion, loyalty and readiness as success factors.
Lasting two days, the meeting takes place under the motto, “Cabinda Military Region with Discipline, Cohesion, Loyalty, Readiness and Organization, Firm for the Challenge of the Future”.
