Africa-Press – Angola. The director of the Cuando Cubango provincial education office, Inácio José Samba, reiterated yesterday, in Menongue, the government’s commitment to increase infrastructures, to guarantee the technical and professional training of youth in various domains.
The official, who was speaking at the opening of the political and associative year of the Provincial Youth Council (CPJ) of Cuando Cubango, assured that the local Government is aligned with the public policies of this fringe of society, in order to achieve sustainable development.
He maintained that the government has done everything for the participation of young people in the management and guarantee of the functionality of all elements of the State, hence the fact that it is seriously investing in the increase of infrastructures, for the inclusion of this fringe of society in the job market.
As a result of these policies, he stressed, most of the province’s staff, both in the public domain and in the private domain, are young and participate directly in the decision-making process.
He considered that young people continue to represent “the strong arm in the decision-making process on the world stage”, as the Angolan Executive has ensured that this fact continues to be effective, at a time when Angola accounts for 50 percent of this fringe of deetento society. of public offices.
“The Angolan Executive has always valued the drive, bravery and determination of the youth who offered themselves to the noblest causes of the Nation in historical periods, as they accepted to defend the Homeland and obtained the best achievements that today are reflected in the common good, like Today-Ya-Henda”, he highlighted.
The official appealed to the youth to use their strength and sagacity to contribute positively to the promotion of harmony and peace, in order to leave a better world than the one they found, with the construction of an increasingly developed society and focused on the patriotic spirit and love of neighbor.
In turn, the director of the provincial office for Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports, advised youth to prioritize the defense of collective interests, with the Motherland in the first place, to the detriment of party ideologies and colors.
He said that the government needs the participation of young people in solving the most varied problems, hence the reason for refraining from acts of vandalism and destruction of public property, in repudiation of the most recent case of theft of construction materials in works in the centrality of Tucuve (Menongue), whose suspects have already been detained by the Criminal Investigation Service.
The executive secretary of the Provincial Youth Council, Miguel Tchissingui, said that for the current associative year, CPJ will focus on establishing partnerships, both for the search for funding for entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector, and for the design of scholarships in institutions of higher education.
He repudiated the wave of vandalism that has been carried out by young people all over the country, in particular in the province of Cuando Cubango, as well as the misuse of social networks, which has jeopardized the well-being, harmony and communities safety.
