Africa-Press – Angola. A business forum will be held next May, in Benguela province, by the European Union (EU), with the aim of encouraging investment by European companies and entrepreneurs in Angola.
The information was provided this Thursday by the European Union ambassador to Angola, Jeannete Seppen, who is on a two-day working visit to Cabinda province since yesterday, Thursday.
According to the diplomat who met with the governor of Cabinda, Mara Quiosa, the European Union and Angola have a very strong partnership in the areas of economy, politics and cooperation.
“We are going to attract more European companies and businessmen to invest in Angola”, said Jeannete Seppen who also announced, shortly, the launch of the second phase of the program to support the formalization of the Angolan informal economy and professional training in agricultural technical schools.
For the diplomat, these actions reinforce cooperation between the European Union and Angola.
Jeannete Seppen, who has already met with the representative of the Catholic Church in Cabinda, Bishop Belmiro Chissengueti, will visit the offices of Word Vision, the Social Center of Salesianos Dom Bosco, the Caio do Porto de Cabinda terminal and will meet with party representatives politicians with seats in parliament…
