Governor of Luanda reiterates special attention to citizens

Africa-Press – Angola. The governor of Luanda, Manuel Homem, reiterated the obligation of public servants to pay special attention to citizens, through excellent service.

The governor made these considerations Friday, at the swearing in of new officials in his department, appointed two days ago, with emphasis on the municipal administrators of Luanda and Belas.

He said that contact with citizens is fundamental, so that they understand the challenges ahead, as well as transmit their aspirations.

According to Manuel Homem, the municipality of Luanda has particular challenges and, therefore, hopes for the execution of more actions to give the city a better image, with emphasis on basic sanitation.

For the municipality of Belas, he defended the need to put an end to disputes related to the illegal sale of land, as well as special attention to the trade reorganization program.

Milca Caquesse, administrator of Luanda, and Arlindo Francisco Vieira dos Santos, administrator of the municipality of Belas, were sworn in.

The new director of the Provincial Office for Integrated Economic Development also took office, as well as deputy administrators, district administrators and directors in the municipalities of Cazenga, Luanda, Ingombota, Sambizanga, Samba and Neves Bendinha.

The municipalities of Luanda (headquarters), Cazenga, Cacuaco, Viana, Kilamba-Kiaxi, Talatona, Belas, Icolo and Bengo and Quiçama are part of the country’s capital.
