The commander of the Cabinda Military Region, Lieutenant General Tukekebi Tussen dos Santos, pointed out the preparation and permanent improvement of the troops as fundamental for building a strong and modern army, capable of effectively fulfilling the missions, in the most complex conditions. .
Speaking this Friday at the opening of the 2023/2024 year of operational, combative and educational-patriotic preparation instruction at the Cabinda Military Region (RMC) level, Tukekebi dos Santos referred that combat preparation is a “continuous and permanent” activity of the effective from an organizational, tactical and operational point of view.
He said that, given the country’s new challenges, the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) are called upon to unconditionally fulfill their various missions.
“The military must be aware that, in the modern world, nothing is static and, therefore, they must follow the guidelines issued by superiors at the most, in the light of the permanent preparation of the personnel”, he said.
The lieutenant general asked the troops to redouble the security and surveillance system, so that the enemies of peace do not disturb the order and tranquility of the population.
He urged collaboration with other defense and security bodies, in denouncing cases that put the physical integrity of the population at risk, as well as the illegal entry of foreign citizens.
The act took place at the 10th Motorized Infantry Brigade in Nto and was witnessed by the provincial governor of Cabinda, Mara Quiosa.
On the occasion, the minister encouraged RMC personnel to remain firm, determined and permanently ready in the defense and control of the province, guaranteeing political and military stability and the free movement of people and goods.
