Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Luanda, Manuel Homem, announced this Saturday, in Quissama district, the reactivation, in the coming days, of the strategy of political training of staff, to ensure a better performance.
According to the politician who was speaking at a meeting to listen to the OMA and JMPLA militants, it is urgent to revitalize the training of staff so that the militants carry out functions with greater responsibility.
“The leader must thoroughly know the organization’s statutes, the party’s guiding documents”, recommended the first secretary.
He advised members to be the main and greatest congregators and peacemakers in their actions.
“It is important to continue cementing the spirit of unity, ethics, respect, understanding, empathy and sacrifice, characteristics that should guide MPLA militants”, he asserted.
For this reason, he said, the need has been reflected in reinforcing, rescuing and encouraging the network of trainers who must return to intermediate and grassroots structures, with a view to defining the profile of party leaders.
He made it known that attention should be paid to the need to invest in programs that allow young people to have better living conditions and to settle in the municipality.
“We must continue to preserve and consolidate the party’s internal life, dialogue, debate, criticism and self-criticism”, he appealed.
Manuel Homem asks for greater cohesion between the central structure and the base structures for better action in the municipality of Quissama.
He recalled that cohesion, the spirit of camaraderie and the ability to self-criticize good or bad actions, have allowed the MPLA to continue to be an unbeatable political force.
He said that in the political trajectory it is urgent to understand the phenomena that the party has so that it can adapt, prepare to face the vicissitudes that the moment and time give it.
He referred that he has been working in different municipalities with the presence of leading cadres of the party, aiming to understand what must be improved so that the MPLA continues to be a winner, concerned with the problems of the people, reinforcing cohesion and the spirit of camaraderie among the militants.
On their turn, the Quissama militants presented several concerns, among which, the improvement of communication routes, better working conditions and means of locomotion to effectively carry out their actions, since the communes are extensive.
