Africa-Press – Angola. The Sagrado Coração de Jesus team won this Saturday, in Lobito (Benguela), the João Garcia Supercup in roller hockey, due to the absence of Académica de Luanda.
The announcement was made by the Angolan Federation of the modality, in the pavilion of Casa Pessoa in Porto do Lobito, stage of the game.
So that the event does not go unnoticed and out of respect for the public, Hóquei Clube do Lobito was mobilized to fill the vacancy left by Académica de Luanda.
Until the break, the Luanda team was leading by 2-0, due to greater experience and shooting.
In the second half, the two teams entered the field with greater accuracy, but it was Sagrado Coração de Jesus who scored.
While the visiting team extended the advantage, the home team tried to do their best to score the goal of honor that did not happen.
The final result was seven balls to zero, in favor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The Supertaça João Garcia is a national competition in roller hockey played between the winner of the championship and the winner of the Angola cup.
The competition is now in its eighteenth edition and the last one was won by Académica de Luanda against Petro, in the capital of the country.
