Africa-Press – Angola. The Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing considers the prime minister to lead this sector, Manuel Resende de Oliveira, who died last Saturday (4th), as an outstanding patriot and pioneer in the ideas of construction and reconstruction in Angola.
In a note, the current holder of the portfolio, Carlos Alberto dos Santos, recognizes that the legacy left by the former minister, in the period 1975-1978, goes beyond generations and pillars that still support the entire family of Angolan builders, who, with humility, have known to preserve.
“It was with deep pain and dismay that I learned of the death of engineer Manuel Resende de Oliveira, former Minister of Construction and Housing, which occurred Saturday, due to illness, regrets the minister.
Therefore, he continues, in this moment of mourning, “I offer my deepest condolences to the family of the deceased, on behalf of myself, my family and all workers of the Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing”.
The Ministry of Public Works, Urban Planning and Housing (MINOPUH) is the auxiliary body of the Executive Power, which is responsible for proposing the formulation of policies, executing and controlling the Executive’s programs and projects in the fields of its activity.
