Africa-Press – Angola. Interclube and 1.o de Agosto face this Wednesday (17:00) in the main pavilion of Cidadela, in Luanda, for the Supercup in senior women’s basketball.
The challenge between Interclube (national champion) and 1.o de Agosto (winner of the Angola Cup), officially opens the season in this class.
The police, now under the technical command of Elisa Pires, will have two reinforcements, namely the North American pole Imani Mcgee 2.01 meters and the Mozambican winger, Ingvild Mucuaro, who returns to the Ministry of Interior club.
As for the military, they will only count on the athletes from the last season, as well as the technical team, led by Walter Costa.
In the previous edition, played at the Palanca Negra Gigante pavilion, in the city of Malanje, Interclube won the trophy with an 81-76 victory.
The two teams are the most titled in this competition, being Interclube, with 10, and 1o de Agosto, six.
